Transport

You can of course come to Souillac with your own transport. The Thalys is also a good option. You can fly from Rotterdam to Bergerac with Transavia. Agreements have been made with taxi companies for the transport from Bergerac to Souillac. During the summer months, Cityjet flies from Amsterdam to the new airport of Brive-Souillac.

Font Neuve is a 10-hectare estate, located about 2 km from the centre of Souillac. The informal atmosphere and finesse with which the holiday homes are furnished make it a wonderful holiday spot that we, the Dutch owners, are happy to share with you. In the large garden is a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols, located at a suitable distance from the holiday homes. A relaxation area has been realised next to the swimming pool at the edge of the forest, with a sauna and a whirlpool. Especially in the early and late season, it is really enjoyable and romantic when torches burn in the evening and you enjoy the warm water under the starry sky. There is plenty of space and children are more than welcome. It is a daily celebration for them when they can go looking for a fresh egg in the chicken coop. It will not surprise you that we regularly surprise our guests with a lovely cool glass of wine or an ice cream, or with an invitation to share a meal. The area invites you to make beautiful walks. You can also go horse riding, golf, play tennis and of course canoe, swim or fish in the Dordogne River, which is only 800 metres away. Or would you rather go shopping or have a drink on a terrace in special places such as Sarlat, Rocamadour, Beynac or Domme? In addition, in the vicinity there is a large climbing and clambering forest with cable cars of up to 20 metres high; fun for young and old. New: 38 beautiful cycling routes in the Lot & Dordogne

In the Lot and Dordogne, too, account is increasingly being taken of the desire of holidaymakers to be able to cycle safely. Recently, the old railway between Souillac and Sarlat has been asphalted and brought into use as a car-free cycle path, mostly along the Dordogne River. You can hire excellent new bicycles (both city and mountain bikes) in Souillac and we will gladly take you to the appropriate track with bicycles if you find the distance too far to cover by bike. If you prefer to go by scooter, these can also be rented.
