The estate

Font Neuve is a beautiful 10-hectare estate located on the border between Dordogne and Lot. A special, hospitable and small-scale project where intimacy and freedom are united. For many it feels like coming home, being able to be yourself again. Children are children again and enjoy everything that nature has to offer to the full.

After you have passed the gate of Font Neuve, you enter the valley that belongs entirely to our estate and thus guarantees complete privacy. Your breath will then be taken away by the fantastic peace and beauty that can be felt here. The renovated country house is located at a somewhat elevated area of the park against the edge of the forest, so that you have a beautiful view over the valley from your terrace. The valley contains a heated swimming pool, as well as an orchard with various fruit trees including apples, cherries, nuts, plums, figs and kiwis. Seating has been created at various places in the park from which you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Through the wooded area, walks start from the property, and deer and wild boars are regular welcome guests. We probably no longer need to tell you that we are situated in the middle of the Périgord, which is an excellent area for culinary bon vivants and wine lovers. Restaurants at every desired level are readily available here and your hosts Wilbert and Willemien will be happy to help you make a choice. Moreover, at Font Neuve a babysitter can quickly be arranged. In short: Font Neuve is a place to love or as an elderly French neighbour confided to us: this is a little piece of paradise.

Font Neuve holiday paradise

The country house consists of 4- and 6-person holiday homes. The holiday homes are very comfortable and attractively furnished with accessories and paintings. All bedrooms have first-class box-spring beds and all windows have shutters, so that it stays nice and cool inside and your children will probably sleep an hour longer in the morning. This, in combination with the tranquillity, ensures an excellent night’s sleep. The living/dining room has a sitting area, fireplace, stereo with CD player and TV with satellite reception (including Dutch channels). The kitchen is equipped with four gas burners, oven, microwave, refrigerator, filter coffee machine or Senseo and a dishwasher. There is a private terrace with garden furniture and sunbeds.
